Pullover terminado - Finished pullover

Estoy en cama con gripe hace un par de días, así que aproveché para terminar mi Cadence Pullover. Es un sweater de escote bote y ajustado en el cuerpo (aunque yo lo hice más suelto y con mangas más largas que lo indicado). La lana es Quino de Lanas Naturales (100% Merino), un hilado hermoso para trabajar y además muy rendidor a pesar de ser grueso (usé 2 madejas del hilado, en total 520 g/570 yds). Recomendados ambos: patrón y lana!

I have been in bed with flu for a couple days now so I set myself to finish my Cadence Pullover. It´s a boatneck cut, fitted pullover (although I made it less fitted and with longer sleeves than suggested). The yarn it´s Quino by Lanas Naturales (100% Merino), a beautiful yarn to work with and very good yardage despite its thickness (I used 2 skeins of yarn, a total of 520 g/570 yds). I recommend both: pattern and yarn!

Remera de crochet - Crochet Tee

Me olvidé de postear esto!!! Una hermosa remera de crochet que me hice en el verano aprovechando un hilo mercerizado hermoso que me regaló la tía Ilda para mi cumpleaños!!! El modelo se llama "Top in Rosenholz - Fantasieblüte" y es de la revista alemana HÄKELMODE que me envió Sarita desde Israel en un intercambio de Ravelry. Gracias Ilda y Sarita!

I forgot to post this!!! A beautiful crochet tee I made last summer with a mercerized cotton thread that aunt Ilda gave me on my last birthday!!! The model is called "Top in Rosenholz - Fantasieblüte" and is from the German magazine HÄKELMODE that Sarita sent me from Israel in a Ravelry swap. Thanks, Ilda and Sarita!

El pasado verano tejí y crocheteé bastante. También me pude dedicar a algunos proyectos de costura y algunos para el evento NERD WARS en Ravelry (estos los voy a publicar en otro post)

Estoy de vacaciones y tenía ganas de coser, además tengo que hacer un regalito. Así que por primera vez incursioné en el patchwork y me encanta como quedaron estos canastos de tela! ¿Cómo hacerlos? Ayumi compartió un tutorial acá.

I´m on vacations and I wanted to sew, plus I have to make a gift for someone. So, I ventured myself in patchwork for the first time, and I love how these baskets turned out! How to make one? Ayumi shared a tutorial here.

Cinco madejas nuevas - Five new skeins

Hace un par de meses participé de un desafío en  el grupo Las Hilanderas de Ravelry. La consigna era teñir un vellón por cada estación del año. Hice una madeja de Otoño con los colores del arce japonés (que fue convertida en varias prendas por Irkachan) y un vellón de Invierno en colores glaciales: celeste, azul y gris. Lo acabo de terminar de hilar, son 5 madejas de 100 g/110m/120yds  cada una. Me gustaría convertirlas en un Abalone. Como me van a sobrar un par de madejas, luego haré un sorteo con las otras madejas para los seguidores del blog. :D

A couple months ago I took part in a challenge in Las Hilanderas group in Ravelry. The challenged consisted in dyeing a roving for each season of the year. I made an Autumn skein with the colors of the Japanese maple (that was converted into several items by Irkachan) and a Winter roving in glacier colors: blue, light blue and grey. I have just finished spinning it, it´s 5 skeins of 100g/110m/120yds each. I would like to knit them into an Abalone. As some skein/s will be left, I´ll organize a giveaway with the extra skeins for the blog followers. :D

Paseo matinal - Morning walk

Cuando me bajé del colectivo ayer por la mañana, ví estas bellezas pastando en el campo de la Facultad de Veterinaria. ¿No son muy lindas?

When I got off the bus yesterday morning, I saw these beauties grazing on the fields of the Vet School. They are cute, aren´t they?

T O U R V E L - Patrón Gratis/Free Pattern

Esta semana estuve muy ocupada tratando de llevar a cabo esta idea, inspirada en un sweater que ví en un viaje. Finalmente les presento a TOURVEL. Es un sweater de crochet corto y amplio, con mangas murciélago y muy fácil de hacer. Espero que les guste y estoy ansiosa por ver los proyectos terminados!

This week I have been very busy trying to carry out this idea, inspired in a sweater I saw in a trip. Finally I present you TOURVEL. It is a wide, cropped,  batwing crochet sweater and really easy to make. I hope you like it and i´m anxious to see the finished projects!

Teñí 200 g de lana para medias que hilé el mes pasado. Los colores no fueron lo que esperaba porque el rojo destiñó como loco en el enjuague, y yo odio el color rosa :( Quizás lo deje para la venta.

I hand-dyed 200 g of yarn that i spun last month. The colors weren't what i expected, because the red bled like crazy during the rinse, and i hate pink :( Maybe i will put it on sale.
